He participates in Mr Espana 2008 representing Zaragoza but did not win, even though he managed to be top 5 finalist along with the real winner Juan Garcia Postiga which is eventual the winner of Mr World 2008.

There are rumoured said that Abdelrahim will representing his father homeland as Mr Iran in Manhunt International 2008 but unfortunately it didn't happen,its not all bad situation at all, since others Muslim hunks from Morocco Abdelmoumen El Maghraouy won those contest. this was another good winning for Muslim Hunks all over the world.
